Abu Sayyaf has claimed responsibility for the Davao Explosion. Police are not ruling out in the involvement of drug lords. PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa says the blast could also be related to the Duterte’s Administration warned drugs.
PNP Dela Rosa: “Still hindi natin madidiscount yung sa mga Abu Sayyaf na we suspect na ginawa nila to waste the tension sa ongoing military operation against them. Nandiyan parin yung anggulo na pagtutuunan natin ng pansin yung Narco terrorism.”
The PNP Chief also raise the possibility of a collusion between drug lords and Abu Sayyaf militants.
PNP Dela Rosa: “Itong mga Abu Sayyaf they kidnap people for money, they can also bombed people for money. Pera pera lang yan sila eh. Kung ako mayaman na drug lord pwede kong bayaran yung Abu Sayyaf. Pwede kong bigyan ng pera na sige bobomba kayo. So, they have to kidnap people. Afterall, mga terorista parin ito.”
